Faith

Christians Believe

•Trinity: God is three persons in One: the Father; the Son, Jesus Christ; and the Holy Spirit
•Bible: The Bible is God’s Word, revealed to us through human writers.
•Sin: All people sin and need God’s help and forgiveness.
•Forgiveness: God offers forgiveness through His Son, Jesus.

Trust the Bible

•Grace Alone: God loved the undeserving world, so He sent His Son, Jesus to love the unlovely and save the ungodly.
•Faith Alone: Jesus’ death and resurrection provide our forgiveness and life; God gives us the Faith to believe his promise of eternal life.
•Scripture Alone: The Bible is the only sources that shows God’s will and basis for the Faith that God gives us.

Distinctive Lutheran Beliefs

•The Bible gives God’s expectation of people ( the Law ) and the terrible consequences for not following the commandments of God.
•The Bible also reveals the “Good News” of God’s love and forgiveness ( the Gospel ).
•Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are the means by which God gives people his Grace.
•Music and singing is an important part of our congregational worship, followed by a “liturgical” worship form handed down from the early Christian church and expressed in contemporary forms.

God has a plan for your salvation!

God has a plan for all of us. We are free not to follow it, of course. But that usually turns out to be a bad idea. Will you be a follower of God's plan?
